Description
A vintage Weiss metal flower brooch – “Flower Power”! It is from the 1960s when a lot of these metal flower brooches were made. It has white metal petals, leaves and stalk. In the centre is a black glass round stone. The back of the brooch is gilded. The mark cWeiss is stamped on the end of the back of the pin. Because it is such a small, rounded place to stamp a mark the ‘E’ has not come out very well – but Weiss did make these brooches and I am not concerned about this. The brooch is in good condition – often the paint is chipped – after all the brooches are at least 50 years old! It is quite large – being about 5 inches in length. A great example!
