DESCRIPTION: This is a vintage powder compact featuring a picture of Piccadilly Circus – probably from the 1950s. It is one of the larger sizes powder compacts – and these usually date from the late 1940s to the early 1950s period.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This powder compact has such an interesting picture on the front under cellophane. It is in sepia colours and depicts Piccadilly Circus – probably during what was then a rush hour! The adverts are great too – Wrigleys chewing gum, Brylcreem and Jacob’s cream crackers! It is marked ‘Made in England’.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: It measures approx 3 3/8ths inches. The front and the inside are in good condition. The bottom has some dotted small blemishes where it has been on a hard surface. The mirror is good too.
