Description
This is a vintage necklace on quite an elaborate white metal structure (quite grey really!) and has red cabochon glass stones and red bead drops. It has jump rings forming a chain with intersperced red beads round the sides. There is a central panel with inset red glass stones and looped metal pieces. There are three hangings of red beads with metalwork. The necklace is very unusual and I am not sure where it is from. The red glass stones remind me of Czech work but the rest of the necklace is not typical. The chain part has an German Art Deco look to it. A colleague thought it might be French. It is, though, a wonderful, unusual necklace. I hope to find out more! It is in good condition and the length is about 22 inches.
