DESCRIPTION: A vintage Sphinx gold tone brooch with lapiz glass blue stones and central faux pearl.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Sphinx was a British jewellery making company and was founded in the 1940s in London and produced jewellery until the late 1990s. They made a wide variety of jewellery. They often made for other well known jewellery companies.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: Their work is usually marked ‘Sphinx’ and often has a number as well. This brooch is marked and the number can be seen at the top. It is in good condition. It has a roller clasp. It measures about 1 7/10 x 1 2/5ths inches.
