Description
This is a pair of Sobral striped resin owl earings for pierced ears. Carlos Sobral has been making colourful resin jewellery in Brazil since about the 1980s. He aims to be a ‘green’ company and uses recyled materials when possible. His work is hand crafted in Rio de Janeiro. He apparently treats his many workers well and I like buying from such an ethical company. These earrings are made of a multi striped resin and have round black eyes with glitter round. They are quite small – just over 1 inch x 3/4 inch. The Sobral mark is on the back of one of them and can be seen in the second photo. They have white metal earrings lever back fittings and are in new condition.
