Description
DESCRIPTION: A red mirror glass dress clip on white metal from the Art Deco period.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Dress clips were very popular in the Art Deco period. They either clipped onto a garment neck or lapel – or you could wear them on a fine chain round your neck. Mirror glass is like a mirror – the glass has the same sort of backing. This one appears to be undamaged – which is rare! It is the same colour red all over but has two facets which affect the colouring when taking a photo.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: It measures about 2 3/4 x 1 inch. It is in very good condition for the age.
