DESCRIPTION: A Pierre Cardin vintage abstract pendant necklace in green and gold tone. Modernist 1960/70s.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pierre Cardin was so important in the second half of the 20th century. He was an innovator in his designs and had a preference for geometric shapes and space age designs. Variations on the pendant were made in various pieces of jewellery and colours. I tried finding other examples on Google today and could find none! Not exactly sure if this is 1960s or early 1970s.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: Condition generally good. A couple of tiny bits of discolouration on the edge of the gilt backing pendant piece. The pendant measures about 2 1/4 x 2 inches. The snake chain about 21 inches.
