DESCRIPTION: A Peruvian silver lobster brooch marked Peru 929 – and Laffi – with a blue stone.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I think this is a lobster! It is marked Peru and 925 and the middle mark is G Laffi. She has been referred to as the Spratling of Peru! She lived from 1923-2009 but I do not know the date of this piece. There is a lot of information about her on Google. I cannot sell it as silver as the British Hallmarking regulations do not recognise this silver mark – so it has to be sold as white metal.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: It is in good condition. It measures aprox. 1 3/4 inches square.
