DESCRIPTION: This is a pair of very large, vintage, blue lucite drop earrings. They are suspended from a gold washed on brass Czech bow finding. They hang from a lever back fitting that matches the bow. The lucite drop is an irregular pear shape. The blue is mottled with white streaks – which are not very intrusive. They certainly make a statement! ADDITIONAL INFO: These earrings are from a shop that closed in 1972. I did see a label that stated that they were lucite. They would have been assembled in the shop because the bow tops were used on some of the other jewellery that I have bought from the shop. If the bow top is not wanted I could take it out and the drop could be fixed to the lever back top. I also have these earrings in green, white, red and yellow. CONDITION AND MEASUREMENTS: They are in unused condition. The metal findings have aged but the lucite drops have retained their colour. They measure top to bottom 3 3/4 inches. The blue drop is 2 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches.
