DESCRIPTION: A pair of dark and light, irregular shaped, pearl cluster clip earrings on gold tone metal. Date unknown, but look a vintage style.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The pearls are an irregular shape and the dark ones are dark grey/black. The lighter ones are creamy white. They have the famous Friction Ear Clips that you find on some Monet earrings. Monet say that they are pinch proof. They enable the clip to be adjusted to each individual ear lobe for lasting comfort – ie they do not spring. You adjust the back so it is comfortable and it stays there! (See page 234 of Alice Vega’s book on Monet – Schiffer.)
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: they measure about 1 1/4 inches across and are in good condition.
