DESCRIPTION:A vintage Miracle flintlock pistol brooch from around the 1960s. The British firm Miracle used pewter metal and glass agate stones in their often Celtic style jewellery.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The British jewellery company Miracle started in 1946 and is still in operation. Their pieces are usually made in antiqued pewter or gold plated metal and set with glass reproductions of agate stones. Often the designs are Celtic style. See my notes on Manufacturers in the blog section. The brooch is signed – please see picture – and has a well functioning roll over clasp.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: In good condition for the age. Clasp works well. Glass stones not chipped. It measures about 3 inches in length.
