DESCRIPTION: A vintage, Taxco, Mexican silver bracelet from the 1930/50s period. Marked ‘La Cucaracha’ with Eagle Mark 3.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This bracelet was made by ‘La Cucaracha’ who had a shop in Taxco between 1930-1950s. They used the Eagle Marks 3 and 6. It has a safety chain and a clip inside type clasp. A cucaracha was a cockroach and there is a Mexican folk song about a cockroach that could not walk!
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: It is in good condition. It measures about 7 inches. It is marked with the name, Taxco, Sterling, 925, and Eagle mark 3 and an E and a 6.
