DESCRIPTION: This is a silver plated, vintage, flower brooch by the Welsh firm MASJ.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: A fairly large brooch by the Welsh firm MASJ. Probably from the late 1980/1990s period. This business was started in in 1984 by Maureen Ann Storey-Jones (Hence the name MASJ) and Edward Anthony. They specialised in natural topics – flower, insects etc. and made in silver plated pewter. This brooch looks as it the front is silver plated and the back pewter. The peak production was apparently in the 1990s and their items are quite collectible. MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The brooch is in good condition. Roll over clasp works well. Measures about 3 x 2 inches.
