DESCRIPTION: A Kenneth Lane vintage, gold tone, elephant brooch with a yellow bakelite tusk suspended below.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I do not know the date of this piece but as the tusk tests as bakelite it must be quite an early one. I have seen this brooch on the internet with a horn tusk and with diamante stones but no information! The colour is a butterscotch yellow – but really difficult to get a good photo! The colour is even – unlike the picture!
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: It is in good aged condition. Roller catch works well No scratches on bakelite. It measures about 3 1/2 inches across.
