DESCRIPTION: This is a Jean Marie Poinot Paris acrylic bangle – a red and black spider’s web pattern. 21st century piece.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Jean Marie Poinot made extraordinary pieces of acrylic jewellery and sold them in his small shop in Paris. He also worked with a lot of the major French designers. Unfortunately he died in 2017 after setting up a new shop – which has now closed. His output has become very collectible. I do not know the date of this piece but it has to be more than 6 years old.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: There is a faint scratch mark which you may be able to see in the top right hand corner of the first picture, and I had never noticed before. I only noticed it when photographing it. Otherwise it is in good condition. The opening measures approx. 1 1/2 inches and the width across (inner) approx. 2 3/8ths inches.
