DESCRIPTION: This vintage collar necklace has a row of green glass beads with alternate hanging beads and gilt chain tassels. Probably 1950/60s.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The bead necklace has a clear and opaque glass beads base row. Hanging from this row of beads are a pair of two tone round green glass beads and two clear green glass beads. In between are gold tone tassles. The tassels are not bright and shiny as they would have been as new. I do not want to clean them up as the whole necklace will then look different – and perhaps too ‘new’. I like it to have the vintage look. I think it is probably 1950/60s. It has an older hook clasp and is quite short.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: quite short – at between 16 and 17 inches. As mentioned the tassels are dull not shiny. The necklace is otherwise in good condition.
