DESCRIPTION: An vintage Egyptian Revival blue and green Czech. glass beads necklace with scarab beetles and drop. Has been rethreaded.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This necklace was in a shop that shut in 1972. They reworked necklaces from older components. This necklace has lovely blue scarab beetle beads and a long drop. The clasp is an old one but not an original. It has been hand knotted. It is a very wearable length.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: It is in good condition – I cannot see any damage to the beads. The clasp works. The drop from clasp to bottom of drop is about 12 inches. The length of the necklace – clasp to clasp – is about 19 inches. The hanging part is about 3 inches. The actual drop measures about 1 3/4 inches.
