DESCRIPTION: A very deep, dark blue glass and brass modernist/brutalist necklace – probably 1960/70s’.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This necklace has a very deep blue glass central stone that I just could not capture on camera. The last photo is the best of the bunch. In the light it can clearly be seen as dark blue – otherwise it looks black! There was quite a lot of various types of modernist/brutalist necklaces made on brass or copper during the period 1960/1970. They are so interesting.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The condition is good – the brass has aged a little. The central panel is about 1 1/2 inches across. It fits up to about 18 inches.
