DESCRIPTION: This is a Czech. made spider brooch. It has coloured glass stones head and body, two green eyes and eight long legs. The period would be 1930-1950s. The metal is brass.
ADDITIONL INFORMATION: Spider brooches were popular in the Art Deco period. Many of the Czech. ones had coloured stones mounted on a brass metal. Apart from the eyes – the stones are all claw set.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The condition is good for the age. All the stones look original. The pin works well. It measures about 2 1/2 inches in length.
