DESCRIPTION: This is a vintage Czechoslovakian metal box with a small panel containing diamante coloured glass stones and other decoration. It is on a gilt coloured metal.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: These traditional boxes could be for face powder (with a sieve), cards or anything you cared to put in it! I used to get a lot of them but supply has dried up for the ones in good condition. The central oval panel has coloured glass stones and additional decoration. The metal is a dull gold colour. They are usually plated but the condition is good and I cannot see underneath the top coat. The lid is hinged. The inside plain.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The condition is surprisingly good. The central blue glass stone has a couple of tiny scratches. The plating is not worn. It measures 3 x 2 inches approx.
