Description
This button is from the 1950s and is made of glass mounted on a brass button back. It has the flaming torch logo and ‘Made in England’ and ‘Hand Made’ on the back. It is not – apparently – known who made buttons with this mark but it is possible it was an ex- employee of the famous Bimini factory – who made similar buttons during this period. This button is in good condition on the front. The gold coating the back under the brass button piece is I think a little worn – or maybe it was made like that – I haven’t seen enough of these buttons to be sure. It measures approx. 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
