Description
This is a brown Bakelite bangle – a carnelian colour. It has a swirley pattern and is undamaged although used. I have a poor sense of smell but when warmed I could smell the phenolic in this one and did not have to test it. It also has that beautiful Bakelite feel to it and ‘clinks’ properly! As a Bakelite collector I just love the feel. It measures the standard 2 1/2 inches inner measurement – which of course is too small for a lot of modern wrists. It is 3/4 inches wide. Would look great in combination with some other colours – or worn singly of course.
