DESCRIPTION: This is an Attwood & Sawyer vintage necklace – in the shape of two buckles. Gold tone and diamante.
ADITIONAL INFORMATION: Attwood & Sawyer were started in the year 1956. They made very good quality jewellery that was sold in high end retail outlets – often copying historical items. They were bought by Buckley Jewellery Ltd in 2001. Buckle say that they use the old designs as samples to create their own new designs. See my notes on Attwood & Sawyer in my ‘Manufacturers’ Blog. This necklace is in the shape of two buckle shaped pieces in diamante on a high quality gold tone background and flat chain.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: Good condition. Excellent gold plating. Measure 16 1/2 inches in length.
