DESCRIPTION: An Art Deco period, green and yellow, Czech. belt buckle with diamante decoration.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: In the earlier part of the 2oth century lots of women employed dress makers – or made their own clothes. They could then choose their own accessories – such as belt buckles and buttons. This streaky green and yellow bakelite buckle has a white metal surround set with diamante glass stones. It is marked on the back ‘CHECHSLOV’.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: It is in good condition. The diamante stones are all present but of course have aged. It measures about 3 1/4 x 1 14 inches.
