DESCRIPTION: An Art Deco period Czech. green mirror glass necklace. It has eleven green mirror glass, floral shaped, pieces on a gilt chain. The pieces are not ‘stepped ‘ as so many are, but consist of four heart shaped, faceted, pieces of glass put together to form a flower shape.
ADDITIONAL INFOMATION: These 1920/30s mirror glass necklaces have a mirrored back and are usually made of a good quality glass. This necklace is in very good condition in relation to the state of the mirror glass. The backs show some age but this does not affect the front.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: For a delicate necklace of this age it is in good condition – especially the mirror glass. The clasp ring states that it was made in Czechoslovakia. It measures about 16 inches/41 cms. The mirror glass section measures about 7 1/2/19 cms.
