Description
This is an Anne Klein vintage bracelet – probably from around the 1980s – but I cannot be sure. Anne Klein started her company in USA in 1968 and expanded it until her death in 1974. The company continued to operate. This bracelet is marked on a metal tag ‘Anne Klein Couture’ so I presume it was one of the higher end pieces. It is quite a heavy bracelet – consisting of five sections in a gold tone metal. Each segment has a large, oval ?glass stone. The sections are joined together with hinges. It is very well made. It fixes together with a toggle that goes through a loop on one side and two loops on the other. The toggle is on a chain – together with the hanging name tag. It certainly makes a statement! It is in good, used condition. It measures approx. 7 inches in length. I always try to have a selection of Anne Klein jewellery in my shop at Alfies Antiques in central London.
