DESCRIPTION: An aurora borialis glass stones vintage bangle. The stones are tinged with blue and date from the 1950/60s.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Auora Borialis stones and beads were introduced in the mid 1950’s and became very popular – replacing white diamante which was seen by some as old fashioned! These were made in several different shades – blue being the colour in these stones. Although the bangle is open ended it is not a good idea to stretch it very much to get it on – it could loosen the stones.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The bangle is three stones wide – the inside measurements are 2 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches. The gap is 3/4 inches. My wrist is 6 1/2 inches and it fits me perfectly. It is in good condition.
