DESCRIPTION: A large Art Deco dress clip with diamante stones marked ‘Silver’.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This is an Art Deco period diamante dress clip. These dress clips have a clip that is sprung to be clipped on to the edge of a garment. They were often worn in pairs. They only lasted into the 1950s. They were made in a lot of materials and were popular from the 1920s. They could also be worn on a chain and hung round the neck like the one in the picture. (The chain is my own and not included!)
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION. The clip is in good condition. The diamante stones are not hugely bright but are all original and in place. The back has a lovely pattern. It measures about 2 3/4 inches.
