DESCRIPTION: This is a vintage, gold tone, snake necklace by Jewelcraft from around the 1940/50s. It has diamante stones on the head and green eyes.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The mark is a Pegasus with Jewelcraft in a box and ENGLAND in capitals. This was used from around the 1920/50s. The clasp is raised – like a cap. The snake head is fixed in position. It has three white diamante stones and two green eyes. The tail end is decorated with circles. It is quite heavy. The history of the setting up of this Coro Company in England is quite interesting!
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The condition is good for the age. It is quite short – measuring about 15 1/2 inches. It fits me and I think I am average.
