Description
This is a vintage silver fish brooch with Mexican marks. It is long and thin – 3 1/4 x 1/4 inches. There is a darkened middle with a ridged edge, an eye and a divided tail. The ‘Mexico’ stamp is not complete but is on the top of the back of the brooch. There is an eagle symbol and an indistinct Taxco mark. It has a 925 mark and something I can’t read. However- as it does not have a British Hallmark I am unable to sell it as silver and have to sell it as white metal. It has a very elegant shape!
