Description
This is a pair of cat clip earrings – with a different image on each earring. The background is a deep pinky colour and the cats are black, grey and yellow. The eyes are actually yellow but I could not get the photo to display this! They are made by Marie-Christine Pavone from France – who reworks old galalith. She cuts and polishes it to a high degree and adds the decoration with her distinctive images. I love her sense of humour. They are marked ‘Pavone’ on the back. See my blog on Pavone if you are not aware of her work. They measure about 2 1/4 inches top to bottom. They are contemporary and unworn.
