Description
A green galalith and chrome Art Deco necklace. This was sold to me as being made up from old Jakob Bengel pieces. (Please see my notes on Bengel – under Manufacturers my Notes at the bottom of the first page). I can see that this is likely as I have handled a lot of the components that were sold off when the factory was cleared many years ago. The chain looks O.K. for Bengel. The pendant part – with the screws at the back – look right too. The green galalith beads are the same as I have bought in the past. Not sure about the black beads though – do not recognise them. Anyway I am not selling it as Bengel – but as an Art Deco necklace made up of mostly old components. It is in good condition for the age. A little discoloration on the back of the pendant. The green galalith beads have some small white spots – but these are in the manufacture. The photos show the chrome as being a bit golden. This is the light reflecting – it actually looks like chrome in real life! It is about 17 inches in length.
