    Description

A pair of vintage glass drops pierced tops earrings. These have come out of a shop that closed in 1972. The shop made up jewellery with a mixture of components – some quite old pieces were used. The clear glass drops depict a dancer (labelled by the shop as Isadora Duncan – but I have no idea!). She is dancing and holds a torch above her head. 3 small black glass beads link this to the gilt, lever backed, earring tops. (This could be shortened if preferred.) They are unused but the metal has aged and is no longer bright and shiny. They were difficult to photograph so have used the mauve colour so the drops can be clearly seen. They can also been seen when the light shines through them – but not so good on a light background! They measure – total top to bottom – approx 3 inches. Glass drop about 1 1/2 inches. I have several pairs of these earrings.
